Come join us on Thursday, July 16th to hear our own Kristina Fortner tell us about Girls Inc. of Pinellas. As Executive Director of our local organization, she fosters an environment of equality where every girl is allowed to be the very best she can be through a wide variety of after school and summer camp programs designed to help each girl become bold, strong and smart.
Kristina has over ten years in non-profit leadership experience, and has been with Girls Inc. for almost two years. She has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology, and has spent time working for Child and Family Resources, Arizona’s Children Association, and the State of Arizona working primarily with children.
As a single parent of a daughter who is now a Sophomore at Largo High School, she knows first hand the challenges faced by the parents of her Girls, and strives to provide each girl with the self-esteem, education, socialization, and tools they need to become strong, contributing citizens in today’s challenging world.
Please note-any school-related supplies, toiletries, age appropriate books, or financial donations are welcomed!
