22 Sep Working Women’s Forum 2015 Planning
Co-chairs Tami Simms and Kristin Smith invite members interested in planning our next Working Women’s Forum to an organizational meeting. We’ll be meeting this comingThursday 10/6/15 at 6PM at the Melting Pot 2221 4th St N. For several years now, we have held a Working Women’s Forum during National Business Women’s Week in October. This signature event is directly tied to our mission of advocacy, education and information and typically draws between 75 and 100 guests.
We’ve chosen the evening Wednesday, October 21 to have a panel discussion on the topic of “Being the Only Woman in the Room” with a panel made up of pioneering women who have shattered glass ceilings and now find themselves in new territory for women.
