Support the BPW Philanthropy Effort

Please join us on December 17th as we hear from Ms. Julie M. Bostick, CFRE Director of Annual Giving, for the St. Pete Free Clinic, on their mission and ever expanding needs to help support our community.

Their current “wish list” for the holidays includes:

♦ Personal hygiene items (soap, toothpaste/brush, deodorant, shampoo, etc.)

♦ Low fat/no sugar foods such as oatmeal, whole grain cereals, peanut butter, preserves, jam or jelly, and salad dressings

♦Additional food items such as white tuna in spring water, low-sodium red or black beans, lentils, dried beans, brown rice, extra-light olive oil, and  balsamic vinegar.

♦ Donations of any other non-perishable foods

Ms. Bostick has been working in the nonprofit sector for over 14 years working in environmental conservation, higher education, and health and human services. Examples are positions in fundraising at the Ocean Conservancy in Washington, DC and St. Petersburg, FL, The University of Tampa, and she is currently Director of Annual Giving at St. Petersburg Free Clinic.

She graduated with a degree in history from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA and holds certificates in Nonprofit Management from The University of Tampa and in Fundraising Management from the Indiana University School of Philanthropy. She has also earned the credential of Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).

She previously lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Virginia, and now resides in Largo, Florida with her husband, stepdaughter and infant son.
