Dear Friend of BPW:
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead
In the spirit of fostering collaboration and promoting inclusivity, Business and Professional Women (BPW) of St. Petersburg-Pinellas and the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce are hosting the annual Working Women’s Forum, “Finding Common Ground Through Community Engagement,” on Wednesday, April 16, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at the St. Petersburg Museum of History.
This year’s forum, part of our ongoing observance of National Business Women’s Week, will focus on bridging differences through open dialogue and collective problem-solving. Our esteemed panel of speakers—leaders with diverse life experiences—will offer unique perspectives on civic participation, community outreach, and grassroots efforts that foster social cohesion. Together, we’ll explore how we can unite around shared goals and build a stronger, more inclusive community.
This year’s panelists are:
- Christie Bruner, Vice President of Advocacy St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce
- Dr. Loretta Caldwell-Thompson, CEO, Caldwell Management Solutions
- Peter Kageyama, Urbanist & Bestselling Author of For the Love of Cities
- Caryn Nesmith, Director of Community Relations for USF St. Petersburg
Our moderator will be Jason Mathis, CEO of the St. Petersburg Downtown Partnership.
