22 Dec Deb Johnston – Navigating Eldercare
In December we had an insightful and compassionate presentation by Deb Johnston, a seasoned independent care manager with over 25 years of experience helping families navigate the often overwhelming world of eldercare.
Deb has dedicated her career to guiding families through the challenges of caring for aging loved ones—especially those facing dementia. From crisis intervention and in-home care coordination to placement options and advocacy, Deb brings a wealth of knowledge and real-world experience to the table.
A past member of the 13th Judicial Court Examining Committee, Adult Protection Team with DCF, and the City of St. Petersburg Commission on Aging, Deb now serves with organizations such as Better Living for Seniors (BLF Pinellas), the Dementia Care and Cure Initiative (DCCI), and the Pass-A-Grille Woman’s Club. She also facilitates a dementia support group and remains deeply committed to empowering families with practical, compassionate tools for care.
