May 17: The Effects of the Opiod Crisis on Women’s Health

We have all heard about the opiod crisis in America today but how does that relate to women’s health? Come hear Sandnes Boulanger, MSW, LCSW, MSAP, CET, Clinical Director of Operation PAR explain the connection. Sandnes has more than 20 years of experience working in residential and outpatient settings specializing in: substance use disorders, trauma, ADHD, anger management, behavioral issues, divorce, family conflict, emotional disturbances, grief, parenting, and self-esteem. Cognitive behavioral, insight oriented, and expressive therapies are used to develop a working therapeutic relationship with children, teens, and families.

Sandnes serves as Operation PAR’s Clinical Director providing clinical oversight to: adult and adolescent outpatient services, Village Women’s Pregnant and Post-Partum Residential, LC Men’s Residential, and care coordination. Operation PAR provides treatment and services to help those impacted by substance abuse and mental health. They have provided prevention, intervention and treatment of addiction and mental health services since 1970, helping children, adults and their families overcome their struggles with substance abuse and mental health. Sandnes provides individual substance use/co-occurring therapy to adults and teenagers offering both face to face as well as behavioral tele-health sessions. She also provides clinical supervision for mental health and social work students as well as counselors earning hours towards state licensure or CAP/MCAP certification.

Sandnes earned a Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of South Florida in 1999 and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology with a Child Development, Family Relations Minor from Western Carolina University in 1993.
