21 May Nikki Gaskin-Capehart – First President/CEO of the Pinellas County Urban League
On Thursday, April 4, 2024 we welcomed Nikki Gaskin-Capehart to BPW/St. Petersburg-Pinellas (BPW/SPP). We welcomed Nikki, not only as a friend of BPW/SPP, but as the first female President/CEO of the Pinellas County Urban League!

For those who may not know Nikki well, she has a long-time reputation as a change agent and champion for building generational wealth. If her name sounds familiar to you it may be because she was the Director of Urban Affairs at the City of St. Petersburg during Mayor Rick Kriseman’s terms. She pioneered the annual girl’s enrichment and women’s empowerment conference that now shares a partnership with Hillsborough County in producing an annual regional girl’s summit serving over 1,000 girls annually.
