03 Mar Unhappy Hour for Equal Pay Day is 4/14 at the Morean Arts Center
Equal Pay Day has been set for 2015, so we will be gathering for our annual observance, an Unhappy Hour. For 12 years officially, much longer unofficially, BPW members have been gathering to commiserate and discuss the issues of pay equity and gender equality in the workplace. Equal Pay Day marks that day into the new year that a woman must work in order to make as much as her male counterpart made in the previous calendar year. (Working 16 months compared to 12).
